Presley is, at her core, a lover of human connection. She thrives most when holding and creating space for people. Teaching at the Om lounge is a direct opportunity to do this and she feels very fortunate for any time on her mat with The Om Lounge community.
As fate would have it, Presley found her way into a yoga class led by Alexi and Suzanne when she was 19 and a student at the University of Pittsburgh. She immediately fell in love with two unique and specific concepts of yoga as taught by these two — the emphasis on breathe and the creativity of the sequence.
She began to practice regularly and her love for being fully present on her yoga mat deepened every class. She always knew that she wanted to be a yoga teacher, but the timing wasn’t quite right as she approached college graduation.
She experienced a brief hiatus from her yoga practice as she got acclimated to adulthood and life post college, but during the pandemic she found herself drawn back to the practice. In fact — nothing quieted the stress and anxiety of the pandemic quite like time on her yoga mat and The Om Lounge’s online classes.
She knew that as soon as the pandemic restrictions started to lessen that it was time for her to embark on the 200 hour YTT journey. As an Om Lounge YTT graduate, she is truly honored to be teaching at the studio she learned so much from.
In her class you can expect to be welcomed as you are, challenged to reach your highest potential, and encouraged to stay present. \
Outside of yoga, Presley is all over Pittsburgh’s boutique fitness community. She is a Senior instructor and Zenergy Cycling and a Senior Master Coach at solidcore. She also loves trying new classes and is always popping around to local studios to see what’s going on in town.
Presley hopes to see you at The Om Lounge soon!
