Greta was introduced to yoga through her mom who loved to go to hot yoga when she was growing up. It wasn’t until after college that she developed a much deeper personal practice. She spent 13 years as a competitive Irish dancer and yoga has allowed her to continue to flow and feel that she is in a dance-like state without all of the rules and competition. Her favorite part of yoga is being able to shut down her eyes and move intuitively in a way that is simply about feeling good. Greta completed her 200 hr teacher training with the Om Lounge in 2023. In her classes you can expect Greta to offer challenging and graceful flows while always being encouraged to honor your body and how it is feeling in that moment. Greta will bring a lighthearted and playful energy, creating a space that allows students to not take themselves too seriously. Above all, Greta encourages you to come to your mat with an intention of gratitude for your body, your practice, and the community surrounding you at the Om lounge. When she is not doing yoga, she is hanging out with her pup Isla, running/walking, baking, and giggling with friends!
