Suzanne Nagel

Suzanne was born and raised in Pittsburgh's South Hills and The Om Lounge is a dream over 40 years in the making. Growing up, Suzanne was either reading a book, writing, or dancing. After taking dance and gymnastics classes, Suzanne would go home and choreograph ‘sequences’ for the neighborhood kids. From dancing to gymnastics, Suzanne loved movement. Now as a yoga instructor, Suzanne is known for her creative sequencing on the mat.

Straight out of college, Suzanne worked as a television news producer. Her love for writing and creating continued and Suzanne eventually moved away from TV news and into marketing for a local spa. Throughout her years as a working mother, Suzanne depended on her yoga practice to sustain her physically and mentally as well as ground her. Ultimately, her love of yoga and her own teachers led her to train and become a teacher. After many years of teaching classes, and and going through some personal life changes, Suzanne decided to open The Om Lounge, with the intention of a space that would be more than just a yoga studio. It would be a yoga home.

In addition to over 6,000+ hours teaching in the studios, leading numerous retreats & teacher trainings, Suzanne also created The Om Lounge 200 hour Teacher Training curriculum and The Om Lounge Sequencing Method© and The Om Lounge Sculpt Method©. Suzanne became an E- RYT 500 hour teacher after completing her 300 Hour Training with Faith Hunter and she will never stop learning and studying forever and ever. When Suzanne is not at The Om Lounge teaching or running her businesses, which is rare, she loves to be with her three doggies and her husband, reading, or eating her favorite food: pizza!
