Angela first started regularly making her way to her yoga mat as a graduate student in desperate need of some grounding and stress relief. In the years to follow, yoga remained a mainstay of her physical fitness routine but she didn't realize just how important her practice was to her until the pandemic left her dearly missing in-person classes. Angela knew that she found her yoga home when she came to the Om Lounge, due to the wonderful community and the way the vinyasa krama style resonates with her body and mind. In her classes, Angela combines what she learned during her 200-hour training here at the Om Lounge with her background in exercise physiology and physical therapy to create smart, fun, and challenging flows. You can also expect her to offer hands-on assists and space to find what feels good in YOUR body. Off the mat, Angela works as a physical therapist with a passion for pelvic health and gender diverse care. She loves cooking, hiking, weightlifting, and lazy days at home with her husband and cats.
